26–28TH SEPTEMBER 2012
Building SV, EPFL, LAUSANNE, CH
The first Rhine-Knee Regio Meeting took place in 1987 and was devoted to X-ray crystallography of biological molecules. It was organized by Profs. J.N. Jansonius, G.E. Schulz and D. Moras as an informal event to allow young scientists to discuss their research results in an international context.
Over the past 25 years the meeting has evolved to include many other topics of structural biology from biological function to innovative methods for determining the structure.
In 2012, this event is organized for the first time by the structural biology groups from the Arc Lémanique (University of Geneva and Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne). It will take place on September 26-28, 2012 at the SV building of EPFL.
Abstracts should be submitted online during the registration procedure.
Registration for the conference includes hotel booking at the nearby Starling hotel (5 min by foot from the conference room).
Excursions to the "Chateau de Chillon" and to the "Vinorama" are planned for the afternoon on September 27th.
The 26th edition of the meeting will take place between the 26th and 28th of September in the SV building at EPFL-Lausanne (Switzerland). The online registration is now open.
The meeting is open to everybody but is limited to 90 participants.
