PhD Student or Postdoctoral Position
The position is available to work on understanding centromere organization in development and disease. The successful candidate will investigate how natural and induced changes in chromosome organization affect the centromere distribution in the holocentric organism C. elegans. The project includes the development of strains by CRIPSR-Cas9 genome editing and the mapping of centromeric by NGS. Candidates with experience in the analysis of NGS datasets are preferred.
